What We Do Certification for StudentsAre you a Pitt undergrad in the School of Engineering or the College of Business Administration? Are you looking for hands-on industry experience in bringing new products to life? Gain real world experience before you graduate! For a Certificate in Product Realization, students take a total of five courses as follows. Students choose at least one of the following College of Business Administration courses:
Students choose at least two of the following School of Engineering courses:
All students must take the following course to complete the Certificate:
Students may optionally go on to take an additional class within the Certificate:
Together, these courses give you a hands-on opportunity to use the advanced technology available at the John A. Swanson Center for Product Innovation. That means that you can develop your entrepreneurial and leadership skills through active learning environments, team projects, and collaboration with individuals in other disciplines. What you gain from this experience is a jumpstart into the world of industry, solid knowledge to help you generate your own entrepreneurial ideas, lead existing business concerns -- even start your own business.
